(Reuters file photo)The Myanmar Press Council says police have arrested two journalists working for an international news organization on suspicion of possessing "secret police documents" related to the ongoing crisis in Rakhine state. "Yes it is correct that they were arrested," spokesman Zaw Htay told Reuters. Wa Lone, who joined Reuters in June 2016, has covered a range of stories, including the Rohingya refugee crisis in Rakhine State. "For a democracy to succeed, journalists need to be able to do their jobs freely," the embassy said.
